Integrity and accountability

On 6 August 2009, the Queensland Government released the discussion paper, Integrity and Accountability in Queensland (PDF, 600 KB) to prompt public discussion on how Queensland's integrity and accountability system could be improved and strengthened.

The Queensland Government's Response to Integrity and Accountability in Queensland sets out the government's agenda for integrity and accountability reforms.

The response sets out four key principles that will form the basis for Queensland's integrity and accountability framework, these are:

The Queensland Government response includes legislative and administrative improvements that will ensure Queensland remains at the forefront of open and accountable government.
