The Queensland Government requires that personal information held by Queensland Government agencies and ministerial offices be responsibly and transparently collected and managed in accordance with 11 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) contained in the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) (the IP Act).
The guide informs Ministerial Officers of their privacy obligations and responsibilities. These details are contained in the IP Act and associated guidelines.
